We are thrilled to announce that during the full moon day of 02/01/26: this Sunday morning at 9:30am EST, the contemporary treasure revealer and accomplished retreat yogi Terton Pema Thinley Drodül will share teachings with our community over Zoom, from his residence in Nepal. The theme of the teaching will include a general overview of the levels and paths to awakening according to Padmasambhava’s tradition of the Ancient Ones—the Nyingmapas—known as the 9 Yanas. The higher levels of these yanas, or vehicles, are the tantric yogas culminating in Ati Yoga, or Dzogchen, the Great Perfection.
This topic will be the structure from which Rinpoche will share his experiential advice on engaging with our motivation as we traverse these levels, how to navigate inner and outer obstacles, as well as how to ensure we are attuned to the pure essence of the Dharma: including what differentiates authentic practice from merely dressing up, playing a role, or mouthing the words.
We are co-hosting this teaching with the Source of Peace center established by Rinpoche’s students in Germany. Please register HERE and you’ll receive the Zoom link.

Terton Pema Thinley Drodül, also known as Lama Dawa Gyaljan, is a close disciple of the late great Dzogchen master Kyabje Chatral Sangye Dorje Rinpoche. He accomplished six years of strict retreat under Chatral Rinpoche’s guidance in the sacred mountains of Yolmo. Chatral Rinpoche had so much confidence in him that he would later send him in his stead to give teachings and empowerments to new retreatants in India and Nepal.
He is the rebirth of Shila Vajra, the heart son of the great vidyadhara Nyala Changchub Dorje. He has been recognized for his various extraordinary capacities by other contemporary treasure revealers such as Atro Terton Rigtsel Longyang, and has been formally enthroned by Gochen Tulku Sangngag Rinpoche. His father was Lama Thubten Phuntsok Rinpoche, a renowned Dzogchenpa and Chodpa from Dudjom Lingpa’s Throma lineage of Namkha Khyung Dzong, who tutored him in the dharma from early childhood on.
