A prayer wheel is a cylindrical wheel filled with thousands or millions of printed mantras. It is said that spinning such wheels have much the same meritorious effect as orally reciting the prayers.
Bodhivastu Foundation commissioned the printing of thousands of sheets of Mipham Rinpoche’s Nad Jom mantras which are specifically for averting diseases and pandemics and designed to be used as prayer wheels according to His Holiness Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.
Years later, an important Oracle of the Nyingma protector Tsui Marpo from Bhutan, Lama Chokhyong Yeshi Dorji, proclaimed a lungten (prophecy) that during the process of Trinlay Khachöd Ling’s (TKL) development, a portion of the property would be called Lugyal Pemai Podrang, the Lotus Palace of the Naga King (Vishnu).
Lugyal Pemai Podrang (mockup pictured above) has several elements that could decrease diseases, and generate longevity and prosperity— It is the perfect place to establish the Nad Jom wheels made years ago.
Therefore, the elements of Lugyal Pemai Podrang are to include:
A Nad Jom (Disease Subduing) water powered prayer wheel.
A reclining Vishnu (Lugyal) statue.
A pond for life release and refuge for fish that would otherwise be killed as bait fish.

Substance Connection for your Support
Since this mantra scroll is made only in extremely rare circumstances, several smaller wheels were made originally so that people supporting the project could make a tangible connection and receive a small wheel of the same powerful mantras for bringing that energy to their homes or work places for pacification, increasing, and magnetizing all these classes of beings in one’s own area.
More About Nad Jom Prayer Wheels
It is written in Mihpam Rinpoche’s Text: “The Blazing Vajra Fire: The Mantra Collection that Incinerates All the Diseases of this Kaliyuga”:
“By these mantras all intractable diseases, such as the diseases of this kaliyuga caused by the powerful external and internal nyen spirits—the demon Parpata and the blood devil—and the unbearable infectious gak and lhok diseases, the contagious belné disease, pox, dysentery down to and including colds; in brief, each and every bad infectious disease will be overcome.”
“All illnesses will be pacified, all harmful influences will be overcome, you will be protected against all disease, and all unfavorable circumstances will be averted. You can therefore place your trust in this practice. This mantra collection is a universal panacea against all diseases. Seal of secrecy! Guhyamantra! Ithah! Mangalam!”
